Inukshuk Souvenir

Inukshuk, pronounced in-ook-shook, is Inuit for "in the image of man". These figures fashioned from stone, originated from the Canadian Arctic and were created by the Inuit people as communication markers for survival. The purpose of the inuksuit (plural) was to act as signposts to indicate the best and safest passageway across desolate and treeless tundra.
